My Experience:
I have been told that when I talk about learning something new, my face lights up. I have spent the last ten years learning about, experiencing, or encouraging learning, both in and out of the classroom.
Before working in education, I gained experience in the food service industry, training future general managers to delegate, lead, and run an effective business. This experience led me to teaching, where I found my niche in instructional design and curriculum development. The opportunity to change learners' minds about learning drove me to obtain my master’s degree in education technology and instructional design.
